Lumia 720 - Touchscreen replacement - India

Hi All ... Have a Lumia 720 bought less than a year back ... All of a sudden on last thursday (27th Nov) ... its touchscreen started behaving erratically with random presses ... screen getting swiped ... to the extent of phone being unusable ... Since it was within warranty ... took it to Nokia care in Pune who said that the screen needed replacement and the phone would need to be sent to HO in Chennai for the same ... And it will take 1 month for the phone to come back ... Since the phone was unusable ... did not have a choice but to take a backup and submit the phone ... Havent heard anything from them yet.

Checked various online forums where it seems that this problem with Lumia 720 is common ... and there are many horror stories on the same ...

Any other users on this forum have got their touchscreen on Lumia 720 replaced ???

yes same issue,but they replaced my yellow lumia with a red one.
