Why can't I rollback to Windows 8.1 from Windows 10?

Can't rollback to Windows 8.1 from Windows 10

I can't rollback my Lumia 720 to WP8.1 from W10.

When I use WP Recovery, it detect my phone. But after downloading firmware and checking, the phone restarted although it won't flashing and it boot normally instead. And the apps said "The device not found" after reflashing progress fail.

What should I do? I'm stuck

UPDATE: WP Software Recovery successfully accessing L720 boot manager and my phone has NOKIA logo appear. Although it failed and it said "Product code is empty", any chance? Why product code of my phone erased after I reflash my phone since July 2014?

Lumia Software Recovery Tool (formerly Nokia Software Recovery Tool) Download - Softpedia

This works better for Lumia phones.

Already using it, but it said "Could not read data from selected phone". Think because of product code on my phone wiped after reflash since 6 month ago.

This works flawlessly for all devices. Just downgraded mine with a French CV ROM (even though I don't have the French variant, but the RM codes match so it works). It's a good way to get European ROMs which generally get the newer firmwares first.

Same Error here,(Lumia 720) Any solution to it because i am not sure about Flashing with the Unbranded RAM.

Removed the memory card and it worked for me.

Or try this, first do a hard reset, and then again try it with windows recovery tool. Don't go for Lumia Recovery tool
