Come on Verizon where's the Amber update?

Any idea on when Verizon is going to push this out? Or is this going to be a Nokia update? BTW this 822 ROCKS!

As a fellow Verizon customer, I understand the frustration. Verizon is slow as Christmas when it comes to updating, as they test the update more than any other carrier. However, in this case, I am glad they are taking their time. I have read all sorts of posts here about HTC 8xs bricking after the update. Just be patient. It will be worth it.

I have been checking daily for updates manually with my 822. I think it'll come in mid-August as well, but is the new firmware coming as well? I can only hope.

Heard GDR2 is up in nokia servers. Ny1 here tried flashing to the new firmware??? If yes, any issues???

I did hear August 14th multiple times , however apparently that date was for an Australian carrier, I'm wondering if flashing is the way to go. I'm just worried about having issues in the future with updates coming thru

Don't. You'd be wrong. 822 is most definitely getting it.

VZW is usually "slower" with update releases (one could argue that it helps with VZW network stability) but GDR2 is coming soon.
