Hi Tungha,
Due to some reasons I am not getting the amber update through FOTA on my unlocked lumia 822 which I am using in Delhi(India). It always says the phone is uptodate. So I decided to manually flash it using NCS. I copied the files mentioned in your links for white lumia 822 Amber update.

1. I have a black lumia 822 . I hope it should not be a problem if I flash it using the white lumia files . Correct ?

2. When I do a "start" to the Programming I get an error that the VPL file has an invalid signature . Can you through some light on this ?

Hi,

See this link - where steps to flash the old firmware are present. As per it, the file names start with a 8 digit HASH - which you will need to remove.


Note
Files that consists 8-digit hash in beginning of name must be renamed. For example:
34B0B8E8_RM845_059P714_1532.2108.1244.0003_252.vpl
must be renamed to:
RM845_059P714_1532.2108.1244.0003_252.vpl
