Noise when wireless charging?

My 830 started making this noise when on the wireless charger. (I've tried it on multiple chargers and my old 822 doesn't make the noise)

I RMA'd it back to B&H Photo and the new one they sent to me makes the same noise! This one appears to be new so I don't think they sent me back the same one. Its not as loud as it may seem in the sound clip, but its just loud enough that I can hear it at night if it is charging next to my bed.

Does anyone else get this noise? Any thoughts on what could be wrong or how to prevent it?

Thanks. I positioned the bottom of the phone a little more towards the middle of the charger and now the noise is a lot less

I just received a new RM-985 and noticed the same thing with a third-party Qi charger. A Nokia Qi charger did not seem to make any noise.

My RM-984 makes the noises on a Nokia DT-601 and a Nokia DC-50.

my 920 makes that noice... it's much quieter, but still annoying. as long as i can sleep cca 5 feet away without hearing it it's fine

You just need to align it with the charging circuity inside the charger. It still doesn't disappear completely but it does become much harder to notice.
