ROM Flashing Guide

I have an unlocked RM-985 that was purchases from MicrosoftStore.com. Can anyone share a guide on how to flash a Canadian variant ROM so I can have the full denim update?

The product code for the Rogers version that can get full Denim is 059W5G2

You don't need Rogers version you just need an RM-985 CA-00 830 Mine is Telus 059W5M5 and you can get (and has) the full Denim update.

I'm just not that comfortable trying this (noob) ... Although I really would love the Denim updates because at this point it's clear Att/MS has no plans on releasing it.. Which is a shame they sold us a lie...

It won't work for an AT&T 830 anyway. You need the unlock RM-985. The AT&T RM-984 has different internals.

RM-985 is NAM, RM-984 is World, RM-983 is ATT.

If it's cricket it is an RM-983 (check your extras + info) and no flash is possible as ATT locked out the bootloader or something.

Just to confirm I had a RM-985 that was purchased from MicrosoftStore.com unlocked. It was stuck at the incomplete Denim update. I could not watch Netflix or use Lumia camera. I followed the linked guide and used product code 059W5G2 to flash. After flashing I was able to run Netflix and Lumia Camera.

You can flash the LTA MX ROM to get Denim. Everything works as expected and you get Equalizer plus stability and speed benefits (I have personally used it)
