Phones sold in Thailand are unlocked and if they have it in a Nokia store it will be unbranded as well.

FYI... Only black and grey Lumia 920s have been released in Thailand. Other colors? They will be available in Jan 2013. You can pre-order on Dec. 15th. The price is 21500 baht. It's about 700 USD.

Update: I heard that the other colors were released but out-of-stock now. So I guess the pre-order should be for the additional stock.

Stores in Central Festival Pattaya were selling 920s in a variety of colors but are all sold out. I am going to look in Singapore this weekend. It might be a typo on Nokia's web site but the Singapore models show as pentaband umts...

The Singapore models are not pentaband umts -- it was a typo on Nokias web site. This was not unexpected.
I ended up buying one in Thailand.
