I love my 920 camera :) Then I read that new article about the new Lumia with new optics coming out this year? Haha so basically taking the 808 Camera and combining the 920 with windows 8. Great looks like I'll be forced to buy it:p Got to have the latest and greatest right :)

Hi all,
A general question. I tried taking some videos on my 920 and the OIS is just amazing. However, the videos seem to be dull and not 'bright'. I compared mine with an S2 and it seems to get in more light. So are there any video settings other than choosing white balance n the resolution ? I have default settings for both, so does the S2 except video quality which was set to 'Superfine' in S2. Some of the videos posted in this thread look brilliant. So was wondering if there are some settings that I have to do and have missed. Or are there any camera apps that is recommended. My knowledge on photography is quite poor :)

Even the pics that I take on auto, do you think they are on par with the other pics in this thread ? Once I take the pic, viewing it in the original size reveals a lot of grains n lack of sharpness. If you give me some pointers as to what all I can try that would be great. I have just started playing around with the different options in the photo settings. But video settings seem to lack them or maybe I am missing something . Are the pics in this thread straight out of the camera or do they have some post-op work done on them ?

some tips I use, compare ISO from auto/100/200 and see which look best to you. I get my best shots with ISO at 100-200 except on night shots I leave on auto.

Ratio i have on 4:3 as I read you get true 8.0 megapixel and I do see a difference in mine. Lastly someone posted when capturing pictures exhale very slowly while you touch the screen to get the best focus.

Hope that helps, there are some other people in here that utilize the EV as well but I'm still not an expert of the EV.

And I do have the update too which makes a huge difference.

@sanders2232, thanks for the tips. I will try them.
