Having just seen that the no commitment price for a lumia 920 on AT&T is $450 (approx 300) I'm seriously considering buying one from the US instead of dealing with this mess of a launch in the UK by EE.
Do you think they'll ship to the UK? would the guarantee be UK or US based? And how soon could I get an unlock code for it?
Any input would be appreciated :)

I also heard that if you buy a Nokia phone outside of the country you're going to use it in, the warranty doesn't count. Not sure if this is 100% reliable or not but I personally am going to wait til I can get the phone in the UK just in case!

With the prices EE are charging it may be cheaper to relocate to the US

If you buy an international phone you do not have any warranty.
