My phone is activated and receiving/sending phone calls, but texts/SMS isn't working. When I check settings it has an "SMS center number" that has a number different from my phone number. It has a note that says, "This is used to send and receive mesages. Check with your mobile operator before changing it." Figured I would try to change it to my actual number, but then texts wouldn't work at all, whereas before they appear to send but don't actually get sent.

    Anyone know what to do?

Same when I got lumia 900, but it is not phone related.

I changed from tmo to ATT, and they goofed the settings when they transferred my old number. Call customer service to get it fixed.

The phone number is a call routing center and should not be your phone number (+13123149810).?? The + is important.

I took my HTC back and had them program the right APN information into the sim. I was about to drop kick my HTC and get a Nokia till I saw this post with the same issue. Fixed the plan and get the new SIM card. Right as rain....
