Please wait for a site operator to respond.
You are now chatting with 'S'
S: Hello Ms. xxx, thank you for chatting in with AT&T customer service. I can assist you with your questions. What seems to be the issue
Me: Hello. I purchased the Lumia 920 on November 9th for $99. The Black Friday price for this phone will be $49. Can I get a price match credit for this lower price?
S: I apologize, but that offer is only available available at retail locations from 11/23 through 11/25 as part of a special deal. We cannot price match past orders based on that future deal, although you are certainly free to use that offer for additional devices if you'd like.
S: We are aware that several websites have had some rumors spreading within them about this adjustment, but the claims are not valid. These adjustments are not warranted.
Me: I see, but many people at those websites were already given the credit.
S: The websites are invalid.
S: And they werent given a credit for that. They were given credits for being mis informed.
Me: I see.
S: The only website that is giving the correct information
S: is our website
S: But
S: I can give you a credit for not being educated correctly
S: as a one time courtesy
Me: Wow, that's fantastic.
S: Also, I am seeing that you received a 50.00 credit 11/18?
Me: Yes, when I purchased the phone, the salesman said I qualified for a $50 credit upon activation.
S: Okay. so that would be what the courtesy would be being that you requested it on sunday.
Me: yes, after seeing the credit he promised was not reflected on my bill, I called
S: Okay. so that will be what the credit would be . I can count that as the 50.00 that you requested for today.
S: So you will see the credit next cycle
Me: so you are not giving me the additional credit then?
S: yes. You are receiving a 20$ credit from me for being mis informed, On top of the 50.00 that the rep gave you. When given credits we note the account on the limit
Me: Oh I see, that's still great, thank you!
