HELP!! Can not do anything on my Lumia 920

My phone was in my pocket and I took it out and all that was showing was the word Nokia on the screen. I tired holding in the power button, but it did nothing. Is there a way to fix this issue?

Hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time to perform a soft reset. Usually takes about 10 seconds and it should restart.

i had very same problem and case, after tried it many times, soft reset can be done and my phone was back. anyone knows why this happened ?

Try signing up a microsoft account or just simply login into microsoft via ur phone.
