even I have a budget of 31k for my new phone...and waiting for these 2 phones from september'12.
If it is above 31k..it will take a min of 6 months to come to that price...I can't wait longer :'( and this impatience should not land me buying a 820 instead :(

Mate i am in same kind of situation !!...

I like Lumia 920.. it should price around 30k :)

Brother, I am sorry to inform you but the price will NEVER be around 30k ever..... HTC is priced 35k, that means the L920 will be around 38k, ****, it can even get more than 40k if Nokia India get money hungry !
But I can definitely tell you this, its not around 30k, I can double bet you on this. Buy L820, not much difference !

By no means will Lumia 920 be priced under 33k. Just look at the prices its being sold in various countries. Its almost 37-38k if you convert those prices in INR.

don't u guys think that Nokia are stuck around that Lumia 900 pricing.?? that not so successful (rather failed) phone is still priced above 30k :eck:
they shud rather discontinue selling it...and due to its price tag..lumia 920's price will be much higher than that of 900

Even if 900 is discontinued it won't affect price of 920.
Pricing of 920 is a different ball game. I would again suggest you to look at the prices its being sold in various countries. 920 is inherently costlier. (I'm not saying its expensive).

Congrats ! Did they tell you the expected price?

To me they told me the price between 38-40K which I consider overpriced. 35K will be nice and anything less than 35K will be amazing. One of my friend is working in HCL Technologies. Does nokia still provide 10-12% for HCL employees? Because HCL Infinite distributes Nokia all over the country

You guys think pre-booking is a good idea, with the Nokia priority? Mostly ALFA, mumbai sells it lil cheaper.
Dude Nokia can only produce 600,000 Lumia 920 in one month. So the first batch that arrives on 11th will last only for couple of hours. Those who miss it will have to wait for one month for the next shipment

So 820 shall appear till last week of January.
Most of the priority dealers do not have much info about 820 and have not placed order for it. Whereas orders for 920 have already been submitted to Nokia. One priority dealer (Pune) I know of has ordered 35 pieces of 920. And he's expecting to get more than that in reality.

Which dealer is this? I will go there this weekend to buy the phone. :)

I don't know what is wrong with the priority dealers in Mumbai. The ones i have spoken to(borivali) havn't even started taking pre orders yet.
If anyone has any idea about the Nokia priority dealers Mumbai who are taking pre-orders please mention the contact details here.
Thanks.
