Lumia 920 Update on server?

My friend tried to hard reset his 920 and got the infamous spinning gears. So he's using the Nokia software to fix it and he said the new version is in the software (ATT_US...PR1_1_V3_RED). Is anyone else seeing this? I'm at work and can't check right now.

Nokia says the update will come sooner than we expect.... That's a lie, cause I expect it every time I check for the update

My friend downloaded and installed, it's restoring everything, but he said that it's stuck at 97%.

I can't really tell because it's a bit of a rainy day here, but the depth of field is definitely better.
I took some sample pictures:

Depth of field cannot change. The camera has a fixed aperture, thus you can not make any changes to the depth of field.

I am looking at the picture with the ginger cat and maybe it is just me, but I think it is really detailed, if you zoo, in at his fur... I think it would be less detailed but again, until we have a side by side comparison we will not have a clear difference...
