It is much better... did you turn of autofocus in the video settings before this recording?
All with defaults - continous focus On, white balance auto, standard quality (720p) ...
The same with photos, I prefer usually default auto settings (and the same with flash, just auto) ... even a night photos are great by a such way ... well, exception is a "backlight" scene, some really rocks in the such backlight cases (auto scene does not catch a backlight case, so it is photographer who has to know when it is a time to use it) ... of course, there is always some expectations that is known only by trying, but it is pretty easy to look a photo and change settings for a new try, for a better photo ...
