Peculiar Death

My 920 died today. It had been re-booting on its own once in awhile in the weeks leading up to today.

The screen simply froze to a collection of colored speckled dots with a white background. Nothing I did could revive it. I took it to my AT&T store and they said the local return center didn't have any 920s in stock so I would have to have one shipped Fedex. I should have a replacement tomorrow or Saturday.

Has any experienced this kind of failure?

Got my replacement 920 via Fedex less than 24 hours after first reporting the problem with my first phone to my local store. Nice customer service!

I'm still baffled by the failure of the first phone, however.

Same thing happened to me and I got the same customer service...24 hours and I had a new phone, 3rd one, this one shut off twice the first day and hasn't shut off since. That was 2 weeks ago
