Hi, I've noticed in the message setting that it has text and chat backup. I have mine set to on. My question is...we're are they backed up to? I checked live and I can't find anything. Thanks

They are backed up and linked to your Microsoft account, but they are not user accessible so you won't "see" them anywhere unless you need to restore them after a restore or a new phone purchase. They are not user viewable otherwise and do not count against any SkyDrive storage limits

Not quite. Read that thread. Plenty of people can't see any sms or mms messages on there including me. It's very hit or miss.
