Be interesting to know if any modifications have been made to the original ones that were taken down

For the CV_GB variants at least the firmware is identical to the one which was taken down.

hi ,i just checked the Navifirm software , my phone firmware is 1249.1001 , but the current available is 1249.1023.

Can i upgrade to 1023 or something? .or is it for specific areas only?

The last 4 digits are just Portico builds for different countries. As long as you have 1249, it's fine.

Right guys my old 920 had firmware 1231.2110.1244.3011 before I sent it off to Nokia for repair.
Nokia couldn't fix it and sent me a replacement yesterday. The firmware on the replacement is 1232.5951.1249.1017.
Does that mean it is the Portico firmware?
