    Anyone else find that some sites will pull up the mobile site even if you have bring up desktop in settings ?

    It appears that AOL decided to optimize Engadget for mobile devices 6 1/2 years ago and never bothered to update to allow mobile browsers to view the desktop version of the site. Engadget done right for your cellphone!

    BGR uses WordPress, so I have no idea why the mobile version of the site appears.

    On a side note I like the Engadget app and prefer using that to browsing to their web site. Have you tried it yet?
