My new Nokia 920 has used up over 3000 MB of data in a couple days... i dunno how.

I've turned everything i can imagine that uses internet off, and still my phone uses immense amounts of data.

Where can i check what apps uses what and kill the application(s) that are obviously completely out of control?

Thanks In Advance.

All you need to do is in settings -> mobile network or cellular -> mobile data OFF.

That's won't solve the "which app is using all my data" question.

And whenever i want to be connected to say... Facebook (24/7) i need to turn that setting on again.

This does not solve my problem.

Also, have a look at what background apps are running settings>background apps.

I can't find any "background apps" section in the settings...

When you go to the settings swipe to the right, you will find background tasks there, then click on advanced to see all the apps that are running in the background :)

Thanks! did not see that...

The 3 apps that are currently running in the background are:
Baconit (reddit)
Facebook
Nokia Drive+ Beta

Might be easier if you told us what applications you have installed

9gag.com
akinator
baconit
battery booster pro
boxfiles for dropbox
bringcast
ebay
facebook
imageboard browser
imageup
i-nigma
kitchen timer

I don't think there are any app that can monitor usage
Only option is to install a proxy server (something like wingate) and point your phone to it, to see what its doing.
That assumes that the problem exists on Wi-Fi as well as data.
