Need battery advice

My battery life is a pos. I have no background, no games, no apps, just weather. A few calls, a few texts. Can't even get thru a day without charging. It used to be much better, but after all these firmware updates it got like ****.
Except letting it go into a toilet and a hard reset (not acceptable) any other advice?

Just swap out the phone.. I've had 3 different 920s; 1 white and 2 black, My first one(white) got really hot and ran out of battery doing the most simple things.
My second one(black) had no battery issues and only got hot watching metrotube or playing intensive games, but the flash broke so I had to swap it out for my third(black) which is what I'm currently on and it gets hot and runs out of battery just by searching on google.. Swap it out until you get a good one.
