WIFI Hotspot Issue -> Cannot browse

Hi,

When I share internet connection with my lumia 920 to any other device (iphone, ipad, laptop) I cannot browse unless I set DNS server manually (I use 8.8.8.8). I know the connection is good because skype can connect. The problem is that I cannot change DNS server on all the devices. I can browse perfectly on the phone. Do you know any solution for this? Does WP8 have some issue related to DNS when tethering? I would really appreciate any feedback.

Don't know much about this one I try it for myself tethering and see what result I get, the only thing I can suggest is to look at Microsoft support and see if anything matches the description or live chat.

before today i was same issue in lumia 920
my wifi sharing was not working
i form india and lumia is also bought in india.
i using bsnl isp{internet service provider}
now to solve this problem go to
setting->access point->add->connection name{according to my isp i using bsnl}->data type{LTE}->INTERNET APN{bsnl net }
then save and activate
now enjoy
imp===data type only and only use LTE :smile: :smile: :smile:
