Group Tile low res image on tile updates

Hi all,

I've noticed the problem of having low res image for the Group live tile updates.
Whenever my contacts in the group posted or shared an image, it will be relayed to the Group live tile updates. Problem with this is that the image is low res.

Anyone experiencing this? Or do you guys have any solution for this?

Well for my me tile it shows a low res image for my profile however on other devices it very clear and detailed don't why this is either.

Its because the phone is a high resolution screen so down sampled photos as your profile photo will look pixilated.

If I recall correctly, I added my profile photo via the phone interface, and that fixed it.

It's annoying and very ugly, there is no way of controlling the quality of these images. If you make the tile the medium one, it will look better than the large one.

Appreciate everyone's experience on this issue. I think the only solution to this is to wait for Microsoft to fix the quality of the photo they use for live tile preview.
