Sync Problem Windows phone app

Hi all,

I have a problem with using the windows phone app for desktop, wonder if anyone has the same problem as me. In short, every time when I do a sync, the app will automatically delete some of my photos from my nokia lumia 920 randomly, which is getting very annoying as I could not get them back. Hope someone could help.

Try reinstalling the Windows Phone App also what OS are you using Windows 8, 7, XP, Vista etc?

Ive tried reinstalling the app but the problem persist. Im using windows 7.
And sorry for being a noob. But where is the option for "delete from phone after transfer". I don't see it anywhere in the app or the settings page

Hi Gentlemen,

I have the exact same problem.

I have experience the following just recently. I copy all my photos again back to phone as luckily I had a recent backup. Sync immediately to a new folder and got everything copied with no problems. Then only with the intention to test this strange behavior I only one minute later click again sync and it started deleting photos on my phone. My Windows Phone app for Desktop also does not have that option about delete after.... as some one mentioned. I was looking for it everywhere and could not find it. Maybe they are talking about some older version or newer?

Does anyone know about another software to do sync which is better? Obviously Windows app has a glitch or bug with the setting of sync time or something.

I in the mean time have to started copying in windows explorer manually the photos to my PC. This is horrible situation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope we get a solution from windows soon.

Where is the option to delete after transfer?
Does any of you who have the problem have zune installed? I got same after zune installation, uninstall didn't help though.
