Phone is on. I'll try renaming.

Rename just causes more errors. At this point, I'm assuming no one with an ATT version of this phone has gotten this to work?

Renaming only the name of the file won't work. You need to edit the content of the file via notepad.

IS it ok if I flash this to my At&t Lumia 820 device? it is unlocked and I plan to use it with a different carrier. Will it be unlocked as it is right now?

You can't flash a 920 ROM to the Lumia 820.

Unless you're referring to RM-820 in which case it will be fine.

The ROM is unlocked

I'm afraid this doesn't work for me, If I fail or something, will I be able to restore it normally to 1314 via nokia software retail updater? (gdr2 not released for my product code yet)

Yeah sure, if it doesn't work you can use NCS to restore your phone

What LTE band does your operator use and what variant of 920 do you have?

I'm stuck at step 10, it's giving the error of invalid signature.. I have already renamed the file from nokia/packages/rm-821, but I'm still getting the same error..

edit: it's saying C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products\RM-821\RM821_059S6R5_3047.0000.1326.2002_068.vpl has invalid signature.

what shall I do?

Rename all files to remove the leading serial

I did every steps like it was told, I entered nokia care, product support etc.. when I pressed '''start'' it said me there was an error ''B1...vlp'', so I renamed it like it was told, so I renamed it and this is what I get now:

error.png

here's a photo from my products paste

erro2.png

what can I do? =(

edit: I connected my phone, now I get this:

error3.png

I was having same issues as mentioned above.. I just removed the checksum hashes from each file, closed the NCS and relaunched it and did all steps all and voila it worked..
