Media Sound Issue

Hello everyone.

Today my phone stopped playing media through the external speakers and Bluetooth. It will work through headphones plugged in to the jack. Alert sounds play through the speaker like when I get an incoming call or text/mail. The strange thing is my custom MP3 ringtones play when a call comes in but I can't preview them from settings. I just checked the Dolby Audio settings and it is behaving like the headphones are still plugged in. So I guess that is the issue. It is stuck in headphones mode I think.

I have tried powering off/on, 2 button reset, plugging the headphones in and out repeatedly. The next thing I may try is looking down the headphone jack and seeing if anything got lodged in there. Anyone have a good idea how to try that?

Next step would be hard reset but I will just wait for ATT to release GDR2 first as it should come soon (I HOPE).

If you can't find anything down the headset, which seems a bit doubtful since you can still hear the custom ringtone when a call comes in, you could consider using Nokia Software Updater for Retail to update your phone to GDR2 if this issue still persists.
