A way to back up app no longer available?

I'm getting sick and tired of waiting for GDR2 and have been thinking about flashing my phone. However I have apps installed that are no longer available that I don't want to lose (mainly my USAA mobile banking app). Is there a way to back it up from the phone so I can install it again after the flash? I have my app list backup turned on but I'm concerned it only saves a list of the apps not the actual app.

Sadly, you can't. If both phones support microSD, you could, as you could save it there. If the app is still listed just not for other people downloading it for current people, you just get the link and try to install it.

But you can't back it up like an iPhone. Sorry. :'(

I know you'll hate this, but I really suggest waiting for GDR2.

Why wait? Who knows when they will release it, if at all, and if they do it will have things removed from it. At this point the only downfall is losing my apps.
