nokia beamer app

Hello,

apparently I cannot use the nokia beamer app with my nokia 920 (updated to black). It is a generic italian 920 bought on amazon, so no carrier is involved. The app simply does not appear in the store on the phone. If I follow a website link to the app I get a message saying the "app is not available for your phone". If I then click the "i" icon for more info it says "it is possible that the phone's software has to be updated, that the app is carrier exclusive or that the app is not available in your country". The phone is fully updated, is not carrier locked and I clearly see other reviews in Italian.

any ideas?

hey Fredv78 welcome to wpcentral forums
it looks like nokia isn't ready to release the app for newly update Lumia 920 (black update ). I believe they will make it available for Lumia 920 in 2-3 days, since many other Lumia 920 are still on amber , Lumia 920 on EE or att didn't get the update yet. Patience is what I can say

Yay ! so now we can conclude that we have all the features of black update running on Lumia 920 .

hehe oh god I really don't care, its still a great camera for me, you can't except the same outputs found on Lumia 1020 on 2 year old phone. Its still a fantastic camera.
and the update seems to somehow solve the problem.
