my Nokia Lumia 920 screen broke

hi, my name is fahmi bassem, my father has a 920 he broke it's screen glass 2 times the last one was today.
what I want to know is can he change the glass ( protector )or I have to buy a new screen.
and what does Screen Digitizer Lens mean?

If you want to change just the digitizer, it's tough. You'll basically take two suction cups, great it with a hair dryer, pull the suction cups on each the LCD and the digitizer and as it heats, very slowly pull. The adhesive will come off but it's tough.
