My Lumia 920 is bricked, how can I fix it?

Lumia 920 Bricked

I tried to upgrade my Lumia 920 to Windows 10 tech preview but my phone bricked.
It comes to the spinning gears screen, stays there for sometime and then turns off. If the phone is on battery, that's where this stops. However, if it is on charge, the process repeats in a loop. Spinning gears -> off -> spinning gears -> .. The spinning gears stay on for like half a minute before the phone restarts.

I have tried both the Lumia recovery and the Windows phone recovery tools. But no luck. They do not recognize the device.

Does anyone has any suggestions?

Have you tried 'my phone was not detected' on the Windows Phone Recovery Tool?

Yes. It tells me to soft reset the phone. I tried that too.

Jazmac!!! I cannot thank you enough!! The thread helped me. My phone is back.. Yayyy.. Changing the cable and the timing to soft reset the phone worked.
