How do I transfer photos from Nokia Lumia 920 to Microsoft Lumia 640LTE

I have photos on my old phone - Nokia Lumia 920 - that didn't transfer to my new phone - Microsoft Lumia 640LTE. How do I retrieve them?

Sync it with OneDrive or maybe even better, simply connect it to PC via usb and back everything U C including Pictures folder, Camera roll especially...

With the presumption that your Lumia 920 is still functional, then you can simply copy your photos to your PC via USB cable, and then copy those photos from your PC to your Lumia 640 via USB cable again.

However, if your Lumia 920 is no longer functioning and the photos need to be "retrieved", then it would appear that those photos can no longer be "retrieved". Only those that have been previously copied off your Lumia 920 or synchronized to OneDrive can be transferred to your Lumia 640.

You would need to use the same OneDrive account in both phones for the synchronization to take place.
