    UK nnetworkis o2. Erm seems smoother. Battery life improved. But that could be the refresh during update.

    How strange. Compared to my three network 925 i haven't had an update, was it an over the air update or when plugged in to the PC?

    it was an over the air update. Woke up to a message saying a new update was available. Have a look at the version numbers I posted, see how they compare to yours.

    No update here either on a Vodafone 925.

    Same OS version but a different firmware revision. Mine is 3040.0000.1322.2003

    4G LTE update perhaps?

    Only suggest that as on Carphone Warehouse it says that some networks require an OTA update to enable LTE.

    Good theory........yeah I've already gone ahead and flashed an EE firmware as was shocked to learn that 4g doesn't work on the unbranded roms. Now I've got my 4g but a bit worried that this might stop me receiving future firmares in good time unless I flash back to debrand.

    Is a little bit of a quandary, but I'd suspect the reason is to do with carrier LTE frequencies, and rather than drain the battery by having 4G enabled and searching unused bands it was probably thought better to let the networks enable it as necessary.
