Anyone else upgrade from the 822 and notice a huge increase in speed? My speetest app results are nearly double for both download and upload in NYC (~20/10mbps from ~10/5) and qualitatively I've noticed all my websites loading up much snappier. I wonder if VZW is already sneakily activating AWS spectrum in high traffic areas

I've found my 928 is much slower than my 8x was. Not apples to apples, I know, but I'm also not seeing the speeds you are in Manhattan. 8x used to get 12-15 mbps download and upload

Edit: Just checked on two 928s in the upper east side: 5mbps down 2mbps up

I'm getting awesome LTE speeds. I guess it depends on your location.

Depends on location more than anything else. However, when Verizon starts rolling out the next level of LTE (I can't think of what the name of it was), the 928 does have the hardware, and I don't think the 822 does, so that will result in a huge spread between the two.

Are you thinking AWS? Verizon has LTE coverage in 99% of their 3g coverage area now. Well before projected dates.
