Automatically download images in mail?

It is not only done this way to conserve data, but also for security reasons.

Correct. Android and IOS allow it though. It is a real pain to have to hit download on every email.

Since most people access mails on the go, i guess ms has not opted for automatic download--of images.

I'd like that feature too. Microsoft seems bent on being my nanny. There ought to be a setting in which I can set addresses to auto download. Really bothers me.

Good to know it wasn't just me that wanted auto download with images in email. I definitely would like to see this as an option in the future, but I will be content for now just knowing that others are suffering with me as well.

If thats restricted for Security reasons, I don't mind. After all, security is one thing that separates WP from iOS and Android.
