928 on Straight Talk activation

Hi, I'm a new user to Windows Phone Central. I've used it to help me find information on how to activate my Nokia Lumia 928 on Straight Talk. While I've seen the Lumina 822 on Straight thread, I'm still a little bit confused. Do I activate like I would a normal GSM phone on straight talk? I had an unlocked HTC 8x before and I used that on Straight Talk. Would the activation process be the same as that? Or would I have to use a CDMA activation code? Sorry for all the questions, but I just need to be sure before I spend fifty dollars on a plan haha

It would be same as Lumia 822 and what you did for the HTC 8X. CDMA activation code I don't think will work. You need the GSM version. CDMA is strictly locked to Verizon. Use the APN settings in the Lumia 822 thread.

You will not get full functionality with any Verizon fone on ST. I sold my two 928's and got a 1520 and 920. ST uses T-Mobile and At&t towers, so those are the phones you want to go for, if you intend on using ST. Been on it for 7 months now...saved almost $1400. Yes, it is worth it.
