Seriously.

I got a replacement 928 today because my power button on my old one stopped working. I ran all the updates (it came with 8.0) and when it finished, I got a notification "Welcome to Lumia Denim" Of course I said "bull****", but I went to extras+info and there it was.

Of course the backup+restore didn't work (I'll actually blame this on the firmware change) so I'm going to have to spend a few days restoring all my apps but oh well.

Anything I should check out?

Mine said that when I did all the updates prior to DP then when I put DP on it went back to black. I switched it a couple of times and that's what it was.

I've got DP set up on it and fully updated with 8.1.1. Is there another way I can check to make sure?

Just did this right now. I turned off PFD it it shows Denim and when I get back on it, its Black.

Damnit! You're right, preview for developers hadn't been installed after my last restore. Reinstalled it and enabled it and it went away.
