Remember WP 7? Think there is any chance the 930 won't be able have Windows 10? Or it will be an unstable hack? I love the 930! The look, the feel, I really love it. And it's the last of the Nokias.
Am I just paranoid?
Thanks,
Mr. V

I see absolutely no reason why it wouldn't, especially considering that Microsoft has said that all WP8 devices will get W10. So yes, it will get W10.

That's all OK 👌, but mind about list of Lumia devices which will receive next w10 insider. I really don't understand , mostly all lumias are on the list, even Icon, but I don't understand (again) what is happening with 930 then?????
I have it and I was very happy 😊 with it. Now....?
It is probably some bugs and, maybe, hardware problems?

Its better Microsoft fix the issue before pushing out a Windows 10 preview that would just upset Lumia 930 users by having a known bug.

Yes. You and several other people even though there's been tonnes of information stating otherwise.

Windows Phone 7 was about a change in kernels. WP8 aligned kernels with W8. W10 continues this trend.

Why can't people grasp this?

Will W11 work on L930? No idea, but hardware for OS requirements are shrinking not expanding. Still I'd rather have newer hardware myself.

Don't be afraid my friend for now 930 and 1520 is the only devices to will take all features of windows 10

That's wrong. What if w10 for phones will include, lets say, that windows hello feature. I wanna see how 930 or 1520 will support it since they dont have IR front shooters. So no, there is little chance that every existing phone will support all features, but that in a good way. From the "inovation" perspective. Not from the "they didnt bother to optimize the new nfc system from w10 for older devices with nfc because it takes time, so only new devices launched with w10 will include it" thinking.

There's no indication currently that Windows Hello is designed to work with existing mobile devices. You are correct in our thoughts however.

At the MWC 2015, Elop mentioned the Lumia 640 and 640Xl would get the 'full package' of Windows 10. Other than hardware restrictions, I can't why MS would leave the 940 out.
