I would like to purchase a new laptop, but I am holding out because of W7. The current operating system is full of problems, notice everyone downgrading, and I don't want to get a new laptop with an old operating system. I just can't wait for it to get here!!

What does Windows 7 (release 10/22/2009) have to do with Windows Mobile 7 (no current release date)?

You can buy a new system now and get a free upgrade to Windows 7 when it launches. Check out the information on Microsoft's site:

Also, RBeaubien is right, Windows 7 and Windows Mobile 7 are worlds apart.

I am confused, the OP was talking about Windows 7 upgrade for regular computers not mobile right?

This forum is supposed to be about Windows mobile 7 so RBeaubien's question is correct.
