I could be wrong but I think I've figured this out. After hissing the Adobe DNG codec I am able to display bit depth as a column in Windows Explorer. It reads 48, which I believe means 16 bits per pixel times 3 colors per pixel, equals 48 bits of information per pixel

Does anyone know the bit depth when shooting raw with the Icon (or 1020 or 1520)?

You may check the bit depth of any photo in Windows Explorer through context menu (right click) > Properties > Details. Bit depth appears under "Image".

I haven't tried shooting in RAW, but in "normal mode" I'm seeing a Bit depth of 24 for my 1020.

From what I can see 30 bits, that is only 10 bits per channel. I thought for sure it would have been atleast 12 bits per channel.
