Camera comparison 830 vs 1520

So if i got this right, my 830 at 4:3 ratio capture 9mpx + 9mpx dng while my 1520 capture 5 mpx + 19mpx dng pictures. It's obvious that in editing software 1520 is clear win, but in evedy day to day usage and taking pictures for social media, 830 is accualy better; on side not add newer hardware and software..830 isn't so bad afterall.
This is my theory but am i right?

Looking the paper you're, unfortunately is not that simple, devices like the 1520, 930 and 1020 uses pureview technology, what that does, is use the difference between those 5mp and the total resolution (20mp or 41mp) so, your 5mp photo from these devices will be easy more sharper than the 9mp from the 830. I have an 830 and compared to my friend 930 photos looks cleaner on that one

Yes, but as far i know 830 is purewiev to. Maybe it's 10mpx not 20 or 41 but still ,,in a range"?
Also, your friend have an amoled display, i tend to see better on them then ips lcd, but i allways chose lcd because i simply love white background haha

The 830 uses preview too, you're right on that, but is not the same when you have more information to add on the final result... And I always compare pic on the PC so is fair enough for all
