Is the Ativ S hardware better than the Galaxy S3?

How similar are these phones in terms of their hardware build quality? If the Galaxy S3 can sell millions, the so called 'cheap' plastic feel should be a non-factor. I do believe that while Samsung likes to make their phones out of plastic, they actually put them together very nicely that give them a solid feel.

The belief I've seen is that the ATIV is simply a rebranded GS3, so I would assume the build quality and hardware would be identical, which is fine as my wife has a GS3 and there is no problems I can find with it's build quality.
