May well be that they fixed the boot loop issue and are releasing it to a select few first to see if it really is fixed.

Tried to check for update everyday but non avail on my csc till today...
Finally have made decision to flash n change csc to NEE, have successfully update to WP 8.1.1, all I can say is it worth to wait! Thanks to all brother who share here..... ��

I'm in the UK with an unbranded ativ s.
Ever since signing up to the windows phone 8.1 developer preview my phone has never updated.
Its currently on OS ver 8.10.12359.845
Are there not any newer uk updates pls? Ta

Do you have the PfD app installed and are you signed into it? Yes, there are more updates such as the Update 1 PfD that brings Cortana to the UK.

I just checked my CSC earlier and it was something like poland! (darn you expansys for your non-uk stock lol!)

Wondering if its worthwhile rolling back to GDR2 then updating to 8.1.1.

Not sure if these phones are like other samsung phones though - If the CSC is different to the original ROM type it won't update in future will it?

Samsung Italy said my serial number is from Hungary. Anyone knows if in Hungary the update is live?

I've said this before but updates roll out based on two factors, CSC and IMEI. It may well have started rolling out in Hungary but if your IMEI is in a block that it hasn't rolled out to yet then all you can do is wait.

Hi Guys,

About 10 days ago, I flashed my ROM to "NEE" CSC and got the 8.1 OS update plus update one. So, I am on the right FW and OS.

Now, I am experiencing problems with my SD card not being read or constantly being scanned.

I am planning to do the following:
1. Change my SD card
2. Re flash to GDR2 and start all over. Last time I flashed to GDR3 and got the update. Some say that you have to update from gdr2 to be problem free!

Meanwhile, has anybody experiencing this problem with their microSD card after flashing ROM?

The advanced gestures app coming out for lumia only phones was the last straw for me. Getting a lumia 930 and ditching my Ativ S as soon has I have the ($$$) chance.

(PfD/ATO CSC still without updates + scared to even check for updates now due to loop glitch on PfD update.)

first of all try reformating the sdcard in the phone, it should help
if not, you can reflash your phone but the flashing process must be done without the sdcard plugged into the phone

1. Developer preview is for testing so problems may occur. Nobody said that you need to use it, right? right
2. I wanted to buy a 930 but lets be honest.. the price is droping very fast, battery life is just average, "only" Snapdragon 800 (not 801 with povwer saving futures) and no SD card support.. flagship? I dont think so. Just wait for the new rebranded "Microsoft" phones

I feel you on that bruh..i did the same thing. Ditched my ATIV S for a Lumia 1320.. Still have my ATIV though.. It's now my music player/app tester.

Those are the correct firmware, radio and boot loader versions for a UK ATIV S. I'm in the UK with the CSC as BTU as well and received the same firmware as you.

The only difference is my OS version is lower than yours.

As i explain in my post few posts above, the Firmware and Radio versions 2424.14.9.4 are the same as 2424.14.9.3. As you also can see in previous posts, people who got 8.1.1 from NEE CSC (i can't remember if other CSC got it too), got firmware and radio versions 2424.14.9.4. That doesn't mean that they (like me) have newer versions than the ones with 2424.14.9.3. Enjoy your new OS buddy

How is the camera on your 1320? Can you please post some pictures with your camera? Some indoors and some outdoors?
Did it get the update to 8.1 update 1?

The camera is crap compared to the ATIV S. That phone has a decent 8mp shooter while the Lumia 1320 has a 5mp camera.

The Lumia 1320 has the cyan update which is really only WP8.1. So that means no folder support. Update 1 is included in the upcoming denim update. So the ATIV S is more up to date than the 1320.
