Hello WPCentral Community. I am currently having a problem on my new Windows 8 (core) tablet. Every once and a while, each day, my tablet will become non-responsive (including buttons), then after a little bit it will BSOD with the error DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. Furthermore, upon opening the dump file in Windows Debugger, it seems to attribute the problem to ACPI.sys. Can anyone help me with this problem?

My Device:
?Samsung Ativ Smart PC (500T Model)
?Intel ATOM 1.8GHz
?2GB Ram
?Windows 8 Core
?Waccom Digitizer Display
?No PC Dock or Keyboard
?4GB MicroSD Installed (Was happening before this)
?All Windows and Driver updates from Samsung SW Updater and Windows Update installed. (was happening before this)
?Uninstalled 3RD Party Anti-virus; Using built-in Windows Defender Anti-virus (was happening before this)
?Latest Waccom Drivers installed (was happening before this)

Here is the output of the dump file:

Any help!? Why is my new tablet suddenly doing this?

I would have recommended these articles:
How to troubleshoot "Stop error code 0x0000009F (DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE)" in Windows XP
Windows DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE error.
How do I fix the DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE error in Windows 8?

But what worries me is that you might have already read them as you have updated your tablet's drivers.

I have read these, and all my drivers are up to date.

What's weird is that this seems to commonly occur during standby/resume, while I'm experiencing it right in the middle of use, nowhere near when I woke the device.
