Phone restarts during backup of mango update. Help!

I've tried this three times now. I get the update notification, go through an hour of waiting while the phone backs up and at 67% the phone restarts and enters download mode while the zune software displays a generic error code (c101007b). I can't update the phone! Any ideas? I've already tried the support tool.

I saw that in the update section.

someone had the same problem , he claims it was due to OVER HEATING of the battery

so try putting a fan to your phone , or take ice put it in zip lock bag RAP IT IN TOWEL!!!! (so u don’t get water on it )

then try it again.
he said he fixed his problem by putting his FOCUS on the AC while it updated to keep it cool

the error code is a generic ZUNE code.

My backup gets to 59% and then this error

The phone reboots during the backup which is why the backup fails.

I've tried a few things. Guess I'll call AT&T and ask them what's up tomorrow.

I think it's the micro sd card. I ordered a san disk class 4 card which is what they recommend

Got it!

I erased all the data on the phone. I have an SD card and it's working fine.

In Zune, go to phone and erase all the data. The data is still on your computer (confirm it sync'd first). Then the backup is small and I was able to upgrade twice. First to the security update and now to 7.5.
