I actually believe that the only reason why this might actually be working on 7.8 devices is due to Spotify's own incompetence in never updating the app for 7.8; to possibly to a newer set of API's(ones that are used in iOS/Android versions of the popular music app, and possibly the WP8...

The last time I used Spotify on WP8(now on a Nexus 4) was a few months back. To be quite blunt, the Spotify app was pretty awful. Inconsistent playing, app crashing, bluetooth issues, and others. Don't know if its gotten any better...

After using the app for well over a month, the bugs are becoming more and more of a nuisance. From... -The sudden stop of music -The inability to play offline music at times w/o restarting the app a few times or rebooting the phone -It's tendency to only search for songs and not artist or albums...

The offline songs can only be played within the spotify app.

I got it by clicking on the link in the post, then adding the page=3 part at the end in the window that the link opened. The 'find all text message history' doesn't work though.

Battery life is a mixed bag for me. Yesterday I was getting close to 12 hours from fully charged to 13%. Today I'm at 36% after 5 hours.

Not sure if this has been listed or not, but my phone sometimes starts playing music when the headphones are removed from the jack(even though the the music was paused). This can be problematic in the morning and especially in class.

Re: lumia 920 Battery Issues Just a little update from my previous battery issues. Battery life on my 920 has improved greatly. I normally get 18-19 hours on normal use. Currently, only MetroTube is running in the background. NFC is always on. Wi-Fi is on when I'm at home or on campus...

I use my JVC XX Earphones w/mic and single button control. Model is the HA-FR201.

A little update. Installed call+SMS app, re-add Google account as Exchange. 2 hours unplugged, a hour standby and a hour of mix MetroTube/Music use. 94% when I open this WPC app about 4 mins ago. 92% at post.

You can sign up with an AT&T MVNO. Since they run of the AT&T network, you wouldn't need to unlock your phone. Some AT&T MVNOs that offer prepaid services includes Net10 & Straight Talk(both part of Tracfone). There's also H20 wireless.
