The reason it's holding up so well is because it's not your typical matte white phone like the HTC one X. It has this ceramic in the paint like the Nokia 808.

A lumia 1020 successor? I wish. I doubt they'll be releasing something similar again (41MP phone) this coming year. They'll probably stick to 20 MP being the standard. If they do come out with something better it'll have to be even greater than 41MP (for marketing reasons) or have a mind blowing...

Right that's never going to happen b/c here in the US AT&T has priority and exclusivities on top end models. Tmo could launch the phone when that ends but when has a provider ever done that? The phone's old news and outdated. Unfortunately Tmo only carries semi/mid ranged WP devices. Best...

920s are totally different from the 1020. 920s are glossy so they're protected from discoloration. 1020s are supposedly ceramic coated or something to protect the white matte finish like the 808s.

Cheaper I guess? Guess it'll be easier to modify the logo tho on the back. Some white paint will make it look good :)
