I know it does, but I've owned a HTC One X and the screen is amazing even at angles. The blacks aren't amoled but it looked great with everything else.

As far as I know, the Network setup app doesnt work on this phone. Just use my settings I posted above. They should work.

I'm pretty sure it is the clearblack that causes the angles to look bad. I wish they didn't use that. Kinda wanting the 8x now since it's the only other windows 8 phone out in the US. I really want the Ativ S so I can get my amoled blacks back though.

I don't care for the screen either. Mine gets horribly dark if I look at it from an angle. My Focus S looked great at an angle.
