Really? My SP3 holds battery well when in sleep. I frequently come home, forget to unpack and still find it in my bag the next day, with only a few percent charge gone. It's never died on me, even when left for days off the charger.

When the Surface connector to USB-C comes out, I will buy one so I can plug in power banks. It's been my wish to power from a power bank since I got my SP3. Outside of that, I couldn't care less about USB-C, it's not like it's powerful enough to utilise the full capabilities of USB-C/TB3 anyway.

I've done work in both photoshop and premiere pro when I've been travelling, no problem with my SP3. Slower rendering in premiere pro, but beats having to carry a device three times as big and heavy.

I have an SP3, and for occasional light gaming when I travel, awesome, but any new(er) titles I leave until I get home and can play on my gaming PC. Do not buy SP for gaming (outside of UWP games)!
