Few days ago I had an update from HTC and since then, when I go into music library i get the error 'device cant play this file' these are the same mp3s i played before! I get the same error when trying to view files i downloaded with youtube downloader...anyone having this problem?

I never turn off my connection services, that would be annoying! But the whole point of turning them off is so no app can access them..so if you want every app to turn on the data, just keep it on all the time

Big difference is that wp7.x was based on the wp6.x runtime, and was totally outdated.. I am pretty sure that wp8 hardware is future proof

Better question is why not put windows phone on a tablet, i think this is a big mistake...make a wp8 tablets and phones, and make app store available for windows 8 pcs

I am sure that these nitpicks are not the reason people don't buy more windows phones...any already established market is hard for new comers. MS is doing right with pushing marketing, because this is how you gain market share. Most smartphone users don't even know what those things you wrote...

Wow, not sure which Dre headphones you are using but my ur beats that came with the 8x are the best in ear headphones I ever used..controls and mic work also..

I must admit I never liked playing games on touchscreens, so I don't really miss them...I keep thinking smartphone manufacturers are missing out big time on adding some new inventive way of physical controls... That would be huge! Till then, its angry birds and cut the rope for me..
