Last weekend I put wp10 on my 640 via insider. All good. I had outlook and Gmail. Yesterday I went to open an email and both Gmail and outlook disappeared from the start screen. Outlook is still on the phone but it just says 'not synced yet'. How can I uninstall the app so I can start again...

I updated via the insider prog the other day on my lumia 640. It took a while but I have to say I a m impressed. Seems to run ok and ive noticed that web pages load a lot faster.

As above. I dont want to install the preview in case it doesnt work correctly, unless anyone has evidence to the contrary.

Ive had another idea. I can just glue a thin strip of something (not sure what yet- piece of plastic) across the back of the fone just above the speaker hole. Just enough so that there is a small gap when laid face up. Bingo.

Agreed, but i dont want a case on it as its a big phone already. A case just makes it bigger. Im gonna drill some tinny holes in the side i think...

I wondered why i kept missing calls... The chuffing speaker hole is on the flat rear of the 640 and when its put down on a flat surface you cant hear it. Some donut made a design clanger there..

None of my apps are on the sd card. My music and photos are and it it is slow getting music on/off. I accidentally touched the bing search the other day and it took an eternity to go back to the home page.

I like my 8s. It does everything I need it to do. No lag at all with 8.1 on it. My contract runs out in December and I've been eyeing up phones now so that when I get one it will be old(ish) , free and low monthly cost by then. Probably get 925 or 930 if that's free.
